First and foremost make sure you booked, you will know you booked your tour because you will get a confirmation email. The confirmation email is very important because it tells you everything important that your group needs to know so please forward or copy and paste it to everyone coming so that you do not have to say the same thing over and over and no one can say you did not tell me this or that. They can also check back against it instead of asking you. Your driver will call you a few days before your tour to walk you through the day of your tour and to find out what bars you want to visit. Please read the blog entry all about your route options so you can tell them the bars you want to visit. We want to make sure all 4 bikes are not at the same bar at the same time which is why we want to know ahead of time so we can make the appropriate plans on our end.
Your tour begins at the corner of Marshall Street and Monroe at Marshall Street Bar and Grill. Please park at 40 Marshall Street which is a FREE municipal lot that is only around 8 houses down from the bar where your tour will begin and end. On the weekend you can even leave your care overnight for FREE. Parking on Monroe Avenue is for only an hour and our tours are 2 hours so do not risk getting a ticket. Trying to find parking on Marshall Street is hard and it is very tight (cars are always getting banged into). We don’t to waste your time trying to find a spot when you can simply park for FREE parking lot and walk the 100 steps to the front of Marshall Street Bar and Grill. Whoever is bringing the cooler should drop it off at the bar instead of carrying/wheeling it from the parking lot to the bar. MAKE SURE you leave your cooler and food outside or at least dont open them on the Marshall Street Bar and Grill premise. This is a place of business and a great partner of ours, anyone caught drinking their own alcohol on the premise will NOT be allowed on the tour so let your group know. We say this over and over because it is important to our business which is why we count on the organizer to make sure the group knows this.
Be sure to read the other blog entries which will help you with packing, decorating, pro tips and other helpful information. We want to make sure you have as much fun as possible in a safe environment that respects the City of Rochester. That means late night tours no being obnoxiously loud and disrupting of people’s sleep. We are very good about responding to emails, phone calls and texts quickly and with detailed answers so never hesitate to reach out. You will find we are easy to get ahold of and during that pre tour phone call we tell you EVERYTHING you need to know and when you get off the phone with us that you will have no questions about what to expect the day of your pedal tour
